Present: Lincoln, Tanner, Jablonka, Lafreniere, Houston, Swenson, Whitmore, Small, Edmonds, Gore, Tuttle, Bennett, King
Order of business had Swenson suggesting that a standard APO batch be purchased from former President Bill Whitmore and it was agreed that funds be taken from the treasury to make this purchase.
It was definitely decided that two chapter meetings be held each month, one to be formal, the other informal.
It was suggested that for the first formal meeting that Mr. Sheldon speak on conservation. (February 11)
Several proposals concerning social activities for the chapter were made. This included a ride, picnic at Mount Toby, a square dance and several others. It was decided that a committee decide what should be done about sponsoring social events and make suggestions.
It was voted to increase dues for members to $.75 per semester and pledges $.50 per semester.
The possibility of pledges, as a specific project, work with small schools tournament.
It was agreed that the pledges for the coming semester be sent invitation cards and that a definite time limit for conducting colleges be set. The next initiation was set for the first meeting of March.
Definite place for holding chapter meetings as well as for storing supplies was discussed.
Charlie Lincoln announced that he had secured the ETA for pledges to act as ushers at the next University concert.
The chapter had volunteered to take care of ranging the fires at the coming winter, the picnic at college pond.
The feasibility of members serving as 10 sheets here in Amherst was discussed.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:15 p.m.
